The full name of the project – Let’s CHAOS – Let’s Create High-tech Accessible Opportunities for a Sustainable Future – perfectly reflects its goal: developing modern, sustainable solutions that combine technology, creativity, and social needs. The project concept was developed by a team of female researchers from the Faculty of Electrical, Electronic, Computer and Control Engineering at TUL: Anna Laska-Leśniewicz,PhD Magdalena Wróbel-Lachowska, PhD and Natalia Walczak, MSc.

Let’s CHAOS is a response to the challenges of the modern world – its participants will acquire competencies aligned with the European Skills, Competences, Qualifications and Occupations (ESCO)  system. These include designing accessible digital solutions, managing technological accessibility, prototyping, as well as creativity, innovation, project work, human-centered approaches, the ability to collaborate in an international environment, and actions for sustainable development.

The project will create five Intensive International Education Programs (IIEP): two aimed at students, two at doctoral candidates, and one dedicated to academic teachers. The main beneficiaries will be universities belonging to the European Consortium of Innovative Universities (ECIU). The programs for students and doctoral candidates will consist of 75 hours of intensive teaching, delivered in a hybrid format (online and in-person), using the innovative Challenge-based Learning (CBL) method, which focuses on real-world challenges and intercultural cooperation.

Let’s CHAOS offers an opportunity for 40 students, 20 doctoral candidates, and 20 academic staff members to develop within an international academic environment. It is a space to develop future competencies, earn micro-credentials, and enhance educational experiences. In modern education, not only knowledge matters but above all the ability to act creatively and responsibly.
The project will start in June 2025 and last for 14 months.

The program is funded by the European Social Fund 2021-2027 (ESF) and is implemented as part of the NAWA project titled “Support for the creation and implementation of international education programs,” project number ESF.01.05-IP.08-0436/23.
