Prof. Beata Łuszczyńska is a specialist in physical chemistry, related technologies, and nanomaterials. She is a researcher at Lodz University of Technology, where she heads the Department of Molecular Physics and conducts research on organic materials for electronic applications, sensors, and barrier materials for encapsulation.
The Mazovian Hydrogen Valley is one of five hydrogen clusters established in Poland as part of the national hydrogen economy development strategy. The cluster’s goal is to build a hydrogen value chain through the implementation of research and development projects, the education of specialized personnel, and the support of regulatory processes. The cluster is led by PKN Orlen and comprises 46 entities, including Lodz University of Technology.
The election of Prof. Łuszczyńska to the Council of the Mazovian Hydrogen Valley Cluster highlights the importance of cooperation between science and industry in the development of innovative hydrogen technologies. Her experience in functional materials and nanomaterials technology may contribute to the development of new solutions in the field of hydrogen production, storage, and utilization.
Additionally, Prof. Łuszczyńska participated in the H2 Academy project, an initiative of PKN Orlen aimed at educating specialists in hydrogen technologies.
