A summer school organized under the ATOMIC Erasmus + project took place at the Technical University in Šibenik in mid-September. Students and PhD students from Poland, Portugal, Estonia and Croatia were trained in VR / AR application usability testing.

"Alchemium-magic of the chemistry of tomorrow" is a modern complex of buildings for the Faculty of Chemistry at Lodz University of Technology. The first building was officially opened with the participation of distinguished guests from the world of science and business, as well as MPs and representatives of local authorities.

First there were dreams, then the chances of them coming true began to appear. Finally, there came the good news that the building for the Faculty of Chemistry would receive funding. First concepts were created, and then the project was attractively presented in visualisations. Today we can stop in front of the entrance to "Alchemium", look up at its modern elevation and go inside, where we are welcomed by a spacious hall, from where we can direct ourselves to the place where we want to be.

International Centre for Research on Innovative Biobased Materials (ICRI-BioM) - International Research Agenda was established in 2019 in cooperation with the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research in Mainz. Since December 2021 it has been run by Prof. Alexander Steinbüchel, a world-class microbiologist, whose task is to implement research directions that combine theoretical and experimental methods, polymers and bio-molecules to obtain new materials with pre-programmed properties.
