The project dealing with carbon capture and utilization is scheduled to end in December 2023. Its activities have been carried out with the financial support of the governments of Czechia, Poland, Slovakia, and Hungary provided through the Visegrad Grants from the International Visegrad Fund.
Prof. Andrzej Marcinkowski from the Department of Organization and Management at the Lodz University of Technology (TUL) is involved in his research work, including life cycle assessment (LCA), production engineering, industrial symbiosis and energy efficiency.

The Perspektywy Educational Foundation has published (29.06) the results of this year's rankings. Lodz University of Technology was ranked ninth in the Ranking of Academic Institutions. This is one place higher than last year.

Lodz University of Technology representatives successfully competed in the Polish Academic Championships in beach volleyball. Maciej Kaszewiak, a student at the Faculty of Organization and Management, and Miłosz Kruk, a student at the Faculty of Chemistry, won the title of Polish Vice-Champions. Their coach is mgr Piotr Piotrowski, TUL Sports Center.

We are very pleased to announce that the fourth edition of the project 'Masters of didactics-implementation of the tutoring model' has brought about great achievements for many students of Lodz University of Technology. June 23 is the International Day of Women in Engineering. This celebration was initiated in 2014 by the Women's Engineering Society (established in London in 1919). On such an occasion, it is worth getting to know the engineers working at Lodz University of Technology, where you can conduct research in 12 disciplines. Among them are 4 engineering disciplines: chemical, land, materials and mechanical.

The Sports Bay of Lodz University of Technology hosted (19.06) the "Kick-off Meeting of the Startups Acceleration Program Powered by Invest in Lodz", the inauguration of the new city Program with the participation of: mentors, experts, strategic partners and start-ups from Poland and abroad.

The results of the Engineer 4 Science (E4S) competition aimed at outstanding undergraduates from technical and science universities have been announced. This year we have four winners from Lodz University of Technology.

Aleksandra Kosmider, a student of biotechnology at Lodz University of Technology is one of the winners of the BioLab Programme for the academic year 2023-24. During her one-year academic internship at the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, she will conduct research in immunology.
