The medical devices industry is currently one of the most innovative areas of the industry. There is a growing demand for innovative devices that can improve the processes of diagnosis and treatment of many diseases, especially diseases of affluence. A unique AngioExpert medical device for non-invasive diagnosis of vascular circulation disorders has been developed in cooperation between Lodz University of Technology and the Angionica Sp. z o.o. spin-off company.

C CUBE is a new spin-off of Lodz University of Technology. The name "C CUBE" is the mathematical form of the C3 acronym for the words Composites/Costructions/Controls, which are the company's main areas of interest. The motivation for starting the C3 company's business is the desire to fill the market niche that is NDT (non-destructive testing) of structures made of composite materials.

Lodz University of Technology implements 7 projects in the Horizon Europe program, including 3 as a coordinator. - We received information about this third coordination of the project on July 5, so the pool of money allocated to us has increased even more. Ultra-fast DCU-HM circuit breakers for electric traction developed at Lodz University of Technology in cooperation with Zakład Aparatury Elektrycznej 'WOLTAN' sp. z o.o. from Lodz were awarded in the Polish Product of the Future competition. A total of 163 projects from fields such as IT, electronics, medicine and biotechnology were submitted for the competition.

Lodz University of Technology is putting the finishing touches to the European Universities Games - EUG 2022. Representatives of universities from 34 countries will compete in 20 academic sport disciplines for a fortnight, from 14 to 31 July.

Around 70 people mainly from Germany and Poland, but also representatives of other European institutions from Italy, France, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Lithuania, Luxembourg and Portugal, will come to Lodz University of Technology to discuss and share experiences from the digitalisation process at universities, accelerated by the pandemic.

Starting on 11 July, a team of students and graduates from Lodz University of Technology, together with representatives of other Polish technical universities active in the Circle of Young Polish Union of Engineers and Construction Technicians (PZITB), will carry out another Workcamp project for a fortnight.

The 'Fabrykant' oak tree growing in Klepacz Park, on the campus belonging to Lodz University of Technology, won the Tree of the Year competition organised by Klub Gaja. It received as many as 5559 votes from internet users.
