Announcement of the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs of Lodz University of Technology of 20 September 2021 on setting a deadline for the submission of students’ applications for access to parking spaces on the premises of Lodz University of Technology in the 2021/2022 winter semester.

On the basis of the Ordinance No. 38/2021 of the Rector of Lodz University of Technology of 21 July 2021 on “Rules and Regulations of the Campus of Lodz University of Technology” I hereby stipulate the following rules on requesting and allocating access to parking spaces for students on the campuses of Lodz University of Technology.

International Cooperation Centre of TUL announces additional call for applications for participation in the PROM Project. The call is open for 11 PhD students of foreign institutions to conduct a short-term scientific visits at Lodz University of Technology.

The National Agency Erasmus+ Programme and the European Solidarity Corps awarded Lodz University of Technology the EDUinspirations prize in the Digital Skills category for the international project Virtual Mechatronic Laboratory, coordinated by our university.

In September (12-19.09), the Polytechnic of Šibenik hosted a summer school organized within the ATOMIC Erasmus+ project. Students and doctoral students from Poland, Portugal, Estonia and Croatia trained in the area of usability testing of VR/AR applications.

The inauguration of the academic year 2021/22 for students of the International Faculty of Engineering took place on 1 October 2021 in the new building of the Faculty of Chemistry of Lodz University of Technology. Special guests honoured it with their presence.

The inauguration of the academic year took place for the first time in the new auditorium of prof. Tadeusz Paryjczak in the Alchemium building. The possibility of direct participation in the ceremony made the audience full of guests.

Rector Prof. Krzysztof Jóźwik began his speech with a short description of the first year of his term in office.

- At every stage of my journey, from the development of the programme to the implementation of the adopted objectives, I have been accompanied by the slogan "Together for a better future". The beginning of my term in office coincided with the coronavirus pandemic, in which the word "together" took on a special meaning. (...)
