Two start-ups associated with Lodz University of Technology made it to the final of the Startups Powered by Invest in Lodz acceleration program. The awards were presented at a gala ceremony on Sunday (3.12)
The Institute of Food Technology and Analysis is currently working on an innovative project to develop and implement a technology for the production of black garlic from Polish varieties.
Lodz University of Technology has received a grant in the HORIZON Europe programme. The NEBA Alliance grant consortium includes 14 European partners from Austria, Belgium, Estonia, Finland, Spain, the Netherlands, Germany, Slovenia, Sweden, Italy, and Poland, represented by Lodz University of Technology.
The InnovaTex2023 international conference was held under the theme 'Innovation in Textile Industry'. Convened at Lodz University of Technology, the event brought together new and experienced researchers and technical experts of the textile industry, more than 120 participants from 10 countries.

The stock market is associated with high risk, so any tool that improves safety is worth its weight in gold. Using artificial intelligence, Agata Świetlik, a second-year student of Applied Computer Science at the Faculty of Technical Physics, Information Technology, and Applied Mathematics, is working on a new solution. As a participant in the E2TOP program, she is pursuing an individual study program. She is the vice-chair of the artificial intelligence section of a student research group - SKN KINo.

The National Center for Research and Development announced the results of the evaluation of applications for funding for projects focusing on education for the key sectors of the economy. Out of 91 submitted applications, 23 were successful, including one by Lodz University of Technology. Consequently, the university will receive 8 million złoty from the European Funds for Social Development.
