During the gala event of the 13th edition of the LEADER Programme, young researchers received grants awarded to them in the competition, in the form of symbolic cheques. A researcher from the Faculty of Process and Environmental Engineering at Lodz University of Technology, Lucyna Bilińska, Ph.D., received a cheque for PLN 1.5 million.
The results of the latest edition of the QS by subject ranking, one of the most prestigious international rankings, have been published. Lodz University of Technology was ranked in it for the first time, in as many as four disciplines.

In January 2023, the Faculty of Organization and Management, TUL, joined the Polish-Romanian-Moldovan consortium formed to carry out an Erasmus+ education project called Developing and improving the STEAM skills of students and teachers for curriculum innovation and sustainable development of higher education institutions and local businesses. The name of the project succinctly explains its objectives: the EU members of the consortium shall support the non-EU members in the development of innovative education by sharing their best practice and experience.
Wiktoria Gerlicz, a student of biotechnology at the Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Sciences at Lodz University of Technology, won the Rector's Award of Lodz University of Technology in the first edition of the programme for exceptionally talented students - E2TOP.
The winner of the first edition of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education's Pearls of Science competition was Emilia Brancewicz-Steinmetz, a doctoral candidate at the Interdisciplinary Doctoral School at TUL.
Fourteen undergraduate students were admitted to the second edition of the E2TOP program: 5 in their first year and 9 more advanced in their degree programs. They were introduced at the opening day of the Research Week. The selected fourteen will conduct interesting research projects under the guidance of TUL researchers.
