The topic of the diploma dissertation awarded in the SIMP competition was a device designed for the physical therapy of the jaw, intended for patients suffering from trismus (lockjaw). It should especially benefit oncological patients in whom radiation therapy of the facial region has led to an advanced and persistent form of the condition.

The Centrum Mistrzostwa Informatycznego (CMI) program was one of the largest projects in education. Lodz University of Technology, the leader of the project, partnered with the universities of technology in Gdańsk, Warsaw, Wrocław, with the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków, and with the I Love Math and Digital Dialog associations. Although the project is now completed, the efforts to advance the development of young IT talents have not ceased.
