Lodz University of Technology is looking for candidates to apply for the MSCA PF 2024 grant
Maciej Szulczewski is one of the two winners of the 2nd edition of E2TOP (an equal prize of PLN 6,000 was also received by Wiktor Barańczak). He worked on constructing a pneumatic robot for the diagnostics of the human gastrointestinal system.
As part of the FU2N (Fund for Academic Conference Excellence) program, I will be working on a topic related to collectible toys, conducting research that has not been previously explored in relation to these products.

Dr hab. inż. Joanna Pietrasik and dr hab. Radosław Podsiadły have been awarded the title of professor of exact and natural sciences in the discipline of Chemical Sciences. Both researchers work at the Institute of Polymers and Dyes at the Faculty of Chemistry.
The decision on conferring the title on the TUL scientists was made by Andrzej Duda, President of the Republic of Poland, on February 29.
The following considerations are an attempt to define the problem of digital publications and their role in the process of research evaluation. They also provide an opportunity to present the results of the 3rd National Conference on Scientific Publishing hosted by CRASP. The central theme of the event conducted in a hybrid mode were the challenges posed by the developments in artificial intelligence.

Dr. Eng. Marcin Cichy from the Faculty of Organization and Management of the Lodz University of Technology received the first prize in the 15th competition of the Committee of Organization and Management Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences for the best scientific work 2021-2022, in the doctoral theses category.
Transport & Mobility research team operating at the Lodz University of Technology under the umbrella of ECIU (European Consortium of Innovative Universities), coordinated by Dr. Eng. Barbara GALIŃSKA from the Faculty of Organization and Management, consisting of 11 members, invites researchers interested in the following areas:
Professor Piotr Sankowski of the University of Warsaw, an accomplished computer scientist and winner of prestigious ERC grants, was one of the featured guests during the Science and Project Day, one of the events of the Research Week. In an interview with Życie Uczelni, he talked about the research on artificial intelligence conducted at IDEAS NCBR, of which he is President, and the importance of promoting and communicating research outputs.
The Faculty of Organization and Management (OiZ), in its capacity as a partner in the project Industry Skills Center for Logistics in Grodzisk Mazowiecki, will be involved in an endeavor, whose budget is 12 million złoty, intended to introduce a new institution into the ecosystem of education. Its official launch is scheduled for January 2025.
Enthusiasm, commitment, curiosity, and hard work - these are the traits that the E2TOP participants, high-achieving TUL students, have in common. All of them completed a research project under the guidance of a research mentor.
