Students from the GUST Student Research Club at Lodz University of Technology participated in the international Sustainable Innovation Challenge (SIC) organized by École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) in Switzerland. The event combined a scientific conference with an international competition.

Forty-two teams from 15 universities across seven European countries took part in the preliminary rounds. Twelve teams, including GUST from Lodz University of Technology, advanced to the finals.

Since January 2025, employees from the Faculty of Organization and Management have been participating in the implementation of the project titled "Sustainability Transformation: Research and Innovation Network for Quality Information, Better Sustainability Reporting Practices and Business Resilience (STAR)". The co-financing was obtained under the HORIZON TMA MSCA Staff Exchanges program and amounts to €1,085,600 (of which €100,050 was allocated to our university as a consortium partner).
