AI Football Manager is the title of another project in the programme for particularly gifted students at TUL. It is being carried out by Weronika Wiechno, who studies Applied Computer Science. She is a scholarship holder of the Intel-Perspectives 2024/2025 New Technologies for Women programme. Her hobby is playing the piano. In the future, she would like to pursue a career in science, as she has been fascinated by acquiring knowledge since childhood.
The Polish Association of Plastic Converters announced the winner of the competition for the most innovative applications of these materials in scientific work. The winner is Konrad Stefaniak, a student at TUL.

Yes, and this challenge has been taken on by Karina Skura, a student of the 2023/24 academic year at the Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Sciences. She is the secretary of the BioMass Student Scientific Research Group. As a young researcher, she is carrying out scientific projects that have resulted in publications and a patent application for an eco-friendly packaging material.

During a ceremonial session of the Senate, the honorary doctorate of Lodz University of Technology was conferred upon Prof. Bogusław Buszewski, an ordinary member of the Polish Academy of Sciences. The laudatory address was delivered by the award’s promoter, Prof. Małgorzata Iwona Szynkowska-Jóźwik, Dean of the Faculty of Chemistry, and the degree was formally presented by the university’s Rector, Prof. Krzysztof Jóźwik.
