More than 140 experts from around the world participated in the 23rd edition of the prestigious international scientific conference, the IEEE International Conference on Dielectric Liquids (ICDL), which was held in Poland for the first time in history.

On the occasion of the 80th jubilee of the founding of Lodz University of Technology, a ceremonial session of the Senate was held. The program of the celebrations included a speech by the Rector of Lodz University of Technology, Prof. Krzysztof Jóźwik. Prof. Beata Łuszczyńska has been elected as a member of the Council of the Mazovian Hydrogen Valley Cluster, which is a significant distinction in the context of her previous scientific achievements and her involvement in the development of hydrogen technologies and technologies supporting the development of hydrogen-based solutions, including its transport and storage. The election took place during the General Assembly of Cluster Members on May 15, 2025.
Lodz University of Technology is hosting the 35th National Convention of Deans of the following faculties: Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, Automation and Robotics, Cybernetics, Mechatronics, and Computer Science. Three students from the Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Sciences have been selected to participate in the prestigious BioLAB 2025–26 program, which offers a year-long internship at renowned research laboratories in the United States.
