On the occasion of the 80th jubilee of the founding of Lodz University of Technology, a ceremonial session of the Senate was held. The program of the celebrations included a speech by the Rector of Lodz University of Technology, Prof. Krzysztof Jóźwik. During the session, students and graduates were honored for outstanding achievements and the best diploma projects. A special part of the program was the presentation of awards by the Rector of Lodz University of Technology.

Lodz University of Technology once again confirmed its active presence on the international stage by participating in events accompanying the World Expo 2025 in Osaka. The university's presence in Japan was part of a broader strategy to promote the Lodz region as a modern, dynamic area open to international cooperation. Prof. Beata Łuszczyńska has been elected as a member of the Council of the Mazovian Hydrogen Valley Cluster, which is a significant distinction in the context of her previous scientific achievements and her involvement in the development of hydrogen technologies and technologies supporting the development of hydrogen-based solutions, including its transport and storage. The election took place during the General Assembly of Cluster Members on May 15, 2025.
